I had the opportunity to look at the story played in “Santa Maria was there!” DVD. I must say that the story conquered me and in many parts of the play I was moved to tears. I admired the actors: although they are not professionals, I could feel that they have taken on the events they interpret and the sentiments of the protagonists.
A big thanks to the Priests and parishioners who made it possible.
On the other hand I can say that the English subtitles run away too fast for me, and I did not have time to read the complete phrases. The play seems too long to me. I think it could be better to have a 90-100 minutes play.
Once again I want to thank you for the kind gift you offered me and – most of all – for the beautiful change you offered me to know about God’s way to show His love to Japanese people and to each of us.
